Through its subsidiary VINCI Airports, VINCI Concessions is a major player in the airport sector, for which it has developed a new, efficient business model: concession company, designer, builder and operator of infrastructure to meet the needs of the concession-granting authority, passengers and airlines. Based on the model’s success, which was confirmed in 2012 by strong growth in passenger numbers at the airports it operates in Cambodia and France, VINCI Concessions was selected by the Portuguese government to acquire the concession holder of the country’s 10 main airports.
