Stadiums

France’s bid to host Euro 2016 (European Football Championship) brought the country’s infrastructure needs to the fore. Adopting a PPP approach is one solution for local authorities wishing to give their cities modern sports infrastructure.
VINCI Concessions can draw on two successful stadium projects.
Firstly, the Stade de France near Paris, which celebrated its 10th year of existence in 2008. Having been a member of the consortium that built this stadium, VINCI Concessions will operate it until 2025. The company has developed a dynamic management model, which combines major sports and cultural events, together with their associated activities, in order to make the best possible use of the site’s resources.
Secondly, in 2008, VINCI Concessions won the first stadium concession contract awarded since the Stade de France: the MMArena in Le Mans. It is also the first stadium in France to be granted naming rights.
