Coentunnel
The consortium comprising VINCI Concessions, CFE and its subsidiary Dredging International (VINCI Construction), Dura Vermeer, Arcadis, Besix and TBI signed a 30-year contract on 22 April 2008. The contract calls for designing, building and operating a 600 metre submerged road tunnel in Amsterdam that will link the city centre to its northern suburbs. The project also includes renovating an existing tunnel. The concession grantor (the Netherlands Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management) will pay the consortium fees calculated on the basis of the structure’s actual availability.
