This centre for sporting excellence, with facilities for all major sports and leisure activities, is to be built to the south of Le Mans. The MMArena is the first concession contract to be awarded since the Stade de France, which celebrated its 10th year of existence in 2008 and is operated by VINCI. The new arena will have a seating capacity of 25,000 for sports fixtures (of which almost 2,000 “premium” seats and 250 seats in private boxes) and 41,500 for shows. It will also have 1,330 parking spaces (on top of the 4,400 Antarès spaces) and 3,500 square metres of reception rooms.
