The contract signed by VINCI Concessions’ Park Azur subsidiary is in the form of a 32-year permit granted by Société Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur (SAACA) to occupy and build on publicly owned land. The contract calls for the financing, construction and operation of a 60,000 square metre, three storey building to meet the growing needs of car rental firms. Nice Côte d’Azur airport is, along with Paris Charles de Gaulle, French market leader in the car rental sector.
Park Azur’s revenue will come from the rental fees paid by the firms operating in the new complex.
