The Truck Etape facilities in Béziers and Valenciennes are secure parks for heavy goods vehicles. As they are fenced, patrolled and under CCTV surveillance 24/7, they meet the requirements of new anti-theft insurance policy clauses.
Opened by ASF in 2006 near the A9 motorway, Truck Etape Béziers was France’s first secure lorry park. Moreover, Truck Etape Valenciennes, which was opened in 2008, has been selected by the European Commission as part of a study aimed at defining European standards for such facilities.
