On September 12th, VINCI Highways, subsidiary of VINCI Concessions, kicked off work on the new A7 motorway concession in Via Niedersachsen, Germany, at a ceremony attended by Enak Ferlemann, Parliamentary Secretary of State Federal Ministry of Transport, Roy Kühne, Member of the German Bundestag, and Frank Nägele, Secretary of State for Transport of the Land of Lower Saxony.

VINCI Highways is responsible for the modernization of the A7 and its operation under a 30-year PPP. The work, carried out in synergy with the VINCI Group via a consortium led by Eurovia, will be completed in 2021. It will significantly improve the quality standards of the infrastructure, replacing a 29.2 km new road of two times three ways. The A7 concession contract brings the network operated by VINCI Highways in Germany to 210 km, thus consolidating its position as the country's leading motorway concessionaire.
