TollPlus will develop and operate North Texas Tollway Authority’ new Back-Office Toll Collection System. VINCI Highways achieves third consecutive win in the USA tolling market in 12 months.

The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA), which operates high-quality toll road systems in North Texas, has selected TollPlus, VINCI Highways (VINCI Concessions) tolling technology subsidiary, to design, implement and maintain its new Back-Office Toll Collection System. The new system will process all transponder-based and license-plate based toll transactions on NTTA’s network and the other toll facilities in the region, as well as transponder-based parking at DFW International Airport and Love Field. NTTA’s network covers more than 1,600 km of lanes and notably includes the Dallas North Tollway and the Addison Airport Toll Tunnel.

As road traffic keeps increasing in the North Texas region, the responsive and resilient new Back-Office Toll Collection System will provide expanded capacity, with an ability to handle over six (6) million transactions per day, roughly twice the volume handled today. TollPlus’ teams will be in charge of project planning, design and testing, transition, installation and cutover stages of the new Back Office System, as well as post implementation services and System operations and maintenance for a period of approximatively 9 years. VINCI Highways confirms with this new contract its continuing expansion in the key American market, after the recent commercial successes with CTRMA, NETRMA and Pharr International Bridge.
