A complete range of road operations and service in a fast-growing Russian region

UTS, a VINCI Highways’ subsidiary (50 %), kicked-off operations yesterday on the newly-delivered MSP 1, a 39 km tolled section including four toll plazas. The highway bypasses the cities of Solnechnogorsk and Klin, which count among the busiest traffic areas in the Moscow region. Avtodor, the public company in charge of the management of Russian highways, estimates that about 30 000 vehicles are expected every day.

UTS will build on its extensive experience in the country to offer a complete range of service including toll services, traffic safety, equipment and systems maintenance, mobilizing a team of +100 employees from operations officers and traffic safety inspectors to IT experts.

Maxim Akimov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Yevgeny Dietrich, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, Sergey Kelbakh, President of Avtodor, and Thierry Puy, CEO of UTS, attended the opening ceremony and welcomed the first drivers on the new highway.
