Positive Mobility
eMagIn Colombia, VINCI Highways at the initiative of Via Esperanza
VIA 40 EXPRESS, which holds the concession for the Bogotá-Girardot highway in Colombia, has set up the “Via Esperanza” initiative, a stopover point along the motorway for thousands of refugees fleeing the economic and political crisis in Venezuela every month.
VÍA ESPERANZA is a space of humanitarian aid providing support and assistance to over 1.000 immigrants travelling along the Bogotá-Girardot road on foot every month. At VÍA ESPERANZA, walkers can find a place to rest, hydrate and receive key information for their journey and a special place for kids. VIA 40 EXPRESS’ initiatives to support local communities reflects VINCI Concessions’ commitment to create positive change for the communities where it operates infrastructures.
