Chihuahua International Airport, or Roberto Fierro Villalobos General International Airport, is located 13 kilometers from the city of Chihuahua, in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico.

Operating national and international flights, the airport has the largest number of passengers and operations in the state of Chihuahua. In 2021, more than one million and three thousands passengers were welcomed at the airport.

The airport is also the headquarters of the Mexican Air Force Base 13.

In December 2022, VINCI Airports finalised the acquisition of Fintech’s 29.99% stake in OMA (Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte), thereby becoming the largest shareholder in this Mexican airport operator. The transaction follows the signature of an agreement with OMA’s former shareholder in July 2022.

With this stake in a company holding a concession that will mature in 25 years, VINCI Airports is moving into Mexico and, as OMA’s largest shareholder, it will contribute to operating 13 airports in a country with high growth potential.

In early 2023, Ciudad Juarez Airport and all of OMA’s Mexican airports received their first ACA accreditation.
