Like all the airports in the VINCI Airports network, Clermont-Ferrand Auvergne is committed to an environmental transition process. In April 2021, it will become the first French airport to make sustainable biofuels available.

A positive environmental journey

In December 2020, it will obtain ACA level 2 certification under the ACI’s carbon emissions reduction programme.

In April 2021, Clermont-Ferrand Auvergne became the first French airport to make sustainable biofuels available, produced from used food oils. With Michelin Air Services as its first customer, these biofuels are delivered by Air bp under a fuelling contract with VINCI Airports.
