La Isabela Airport
La Isabela Airport, located north of the city of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, currently manages daily operations of commercial and private flights.
In 2015, VINCI Airports signed an agreement to acquire the Dominican AERODOM company which has a concession contract with the Dominican Government and the Airport Commission to operate six airports in the Dominican Republic, valid until March 2030.
The Dominican Republic features an attractive economy and forms a dynamic region. The country notably benefits from North American growth and the local authorities’ ambitious tourism expansion policy.
At the end of 2023, the Government of the Dominican Republic granted VINCI Airports a 30-year extension of its current concession contract, originally scheduled for 2030.
Improving continuously the quality of service
In 2018, the airport increases the offer of services to passengers: in view of the sustained growth in passengers and operations of La Isabela airport, a bar / cafe, last minute shop and duty-free store with premium items for the comfort of its passengers.
Seeking to offer a better service to the passengers that transit through the La Isabela airport, announced the construction of new facilities including a duty-free store with the support of the international leading brands MGI Services and DuFry.
