VINCI Concessions leads the consortium (33.3%) that holds the concession for the East End Crossing until 2051.

Part of the Ohio River Bridges Project, the East End Crossing involves designing, building, financing, operating and maintaining a new 762-m long four-lane cable-stayed bridge crossing the Ohio river to connect Louisville, Kentucky to the south of Indiana, a 512-m long twin-bore tunnel before the bridge on the Kentucky side and work to upgrade 12.2 km of road and related infrastructure.

The East End Crossing is the first road bridge project to be delivered using an availability payment (AP) structure in Indiana and Kentucky.

VINCI Concessions completed the procurement process in record time – less than 13 months to reach financial close from start to finish. Highly innovative and competitive, the financing solution used on the project includes short- and long-term private activity bonds with exceptionally long maturities.

The project stands out for its ultra-modern design and the speed at which construction will be completed. Delivery is expected within 43 months.

A fully integrated team of developers is responsible for the entire project, including construction, operation and maintenance.

An innovative customer approach brings together the stakeholders in a partnership specifically dedicated to the major road infrastructure project.

Through WVB’s project management, traffic will generate revenue from 31 October 2016, eight months ahead of the target of mid-2017 set by IFA.
